Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data MyIndonesian collects through this website, why, and what your rights are.
1. Who we are
MyIndonesian is a business line of CV Asra Indonesia, a legally registered business in Indonesia. For privacy questions, write to Myindonesian123@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
When you send the booking form, we receive the details you type in:
- full name and email address
- WhatsApp number (optional)
- country and time zone
- the package and goal you chose
- your message about your level and preferred schedule
To limit spam, our server briefly keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address and the time of your request. We do not keep your readable IP address for this purpose.
If you contact us by email or WhatsApp instead, we receive whatever you send us, and that service provider processes it under its own terms.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry, suggest lesson times and arrange your lessons (including the free trial class).
- To keep the booking form safe from spam and abuse.
Our legal bases are taking steps at your request before a lesson agreement, our legitimate interest in running and protecting the website, and your consent for optional analytics cookies.
4. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
5. Who receives your data
- Our email and web hosting provider, which delivers the booking form to our mailbox.
- Zoom, when we hold your lessons online, under its own privacy terms.
- WhatsApp, only if you choose to message us there.
- Google (Google Sheets), where a copy of your booking request is stored so we can keep track of enquiries.
- YouTube (Google), only if you press play on a video. Nothing is loaded from YouTube before that.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
We are based in Indonesia and teach learners worldwide, so your data may be handled in several countries. Providers listed above may process data outside your country.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry only as long as needed to answer it and, if you book lessons, to provide them. After that we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the data we hold about you, and to stop using it. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email Myindonesian123@gmail.com.
9. Changes
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
